About US
We started this business because we had an interest in plants. We have no formal training or education in horticulture. Every thing we know we've gotten offline and from our customers. What started off as a hobby grew into a small business. Over the years, we have gone through several changes. Now, all of our plants are grown in Cochise County, AZ , for Cochise County. We specialize in a variety of native and drought tolerant plants, which we have grown from cuttings or seed. We try to keep our inventory a manageable size. Though, each year our inventory changes as we add and delete plants based on what we find does or does not do well here and what our customers prefer. We grow our plants in native soil with added compost and we attempt to grow things without a greenhouse as much as possible. That way our plants go right from our soil to your soil without shock and they are already hardened off.
We currently sell our products at the Sierra Vista, Bisbee and St. David Farmer's Markets. Occasionally we will sell at the Sierra Vista Swap Meet as well. Since our overhead is low, we try to keep our prices reasonably low for our customers. Even though we make every effort to sell inexpensive, strong, healthy plants geared for our environment; due to any number of circumstances beyond our control, we do not guarantee the well-being of plants in any way once they have been purchased and taken home by the customer.
Local Landscapers
We are often asked if we know any landscapers. There are two that we refer people to, both of whom have been in the business many years.
Carlos Gamez 520-227-6175 - cell
Damon Drayfahl 520-559-2523 - cell
Both are local numbers.
