Which came first, the plant or the bug? We wouldn't have one without the other. The more we work with the plants, the more we take note of the bugs; the good, the bad, and the ugly. We try to concentrate more on the beautiful ones, though.

7. Cloudless Sulpher pupa. It takes approximately 9 - 11 days from pupa being formed to hatching

11. Giant Swallowtail - Papilio cresphontes - Not a good picture, but the only one I've seen.

13. Gulf Fritillary larvae - Agraulis vanillae - on passion flower vine - by mid September the Passiflora caerulea and the Passiflora mexicana were eaten down to the bare stems.
